    Why doesn't my stove top igniter click?

    The igniter is connected to a wall outlet to get its power. It's possible the breaker tripped in your breaker box or the plug came out at the wall. Have you moved the stove at all like for cleaning? They do go bad over time and need to be replaced, but check the power source first.
