    Why does my Whirlpool upright dryer squeak?
    I have a Whirlpool front loading dryer that is squeaking once it gets hot. We replaced the idler pulley, but that didn't help. Does anyone know what is wrong? There is one fin missing on our fan, but we are not thinking that is the problem. Any ideas?? Thank you.

    It makes the sound when it is empty too.

    Tear it totally down and wash out the air ducts and blower fan with housing. Anything that moves should be greased with white lithium grease. Here are some manuals: https://dl.dropbox.com/u/8010163/Whirlpool%20Dryers.zip
