    Whirlpool motor make noise
    Hi everybody I'm new here I have a whirlpool washer about 4yrds old the type of my machine is ultimate care series2 and it start to noise when the washer is spined or wash, when the washer is turning it make squeaky sound like the motor is dry or it scratch on to something, the sound is low when wash but when it rinse the sound it louder, please somebody help me out.

    So the washer fills up correct? Now when its done filling up, it its starts to agitate (basically starts washing) the agitator starts turning. Now when that's happening, does it make that noise? When it goes in the spin cycle, does it make noise as well? Its sound to me like you transmisson is bad. Of the information you gave me, that's all I can think of at this time because it was very little information. But it sounds to me like a bad transmission...
