    Whirlpool Electric Dryer Problem
I have a Whirlpool electric dryer model# LEC8858EQ1. It seems to work fine except often it does not fully dry the clothes. I have check and cleaned all lint from the screens, back and the vent going outside so that is not the problem. I just replaced the two thermostats and that did not fix the problem. Any suggestions what else may be wrong?

Verify that there is no lint built up in the blower wheel.

Other simple things to check would be the door gasket, make sure its all sealed up. The dryer blower wheel draws its air through the drum, it doesn't blow air through it. If you have cracks and crevisis, it could be drawing its air from other places than the element.

Also verify the element is working properly and the high limit isn't tripped. The highlimit on mine is right above the elmenet in the rear of the dryer.

I'm sure the dryer is fixed by now. But for anyone else that might need it. Double checked that both circuit breakers are completely in the on position. If its only partially reset it will not heat fully. It will work and get warm but never hot until it has the full 220.
