I have a whirlpool washing machine and everything seems to be working right but it won't spin. What can I do to repair it?

If not going in spin cyle, probably a bad lid switch. Unplug unit and unplug on wire on the lid switch. Check it for continuity. If none it is bad. You can also jumper around it to test however when you jumper it make sure the lid is closed when you check it. Good Luck
