Washing Machine Noise During Spin Cycle
    Hello,
I own a Maytage Neptune MAH4000 washing machine. Lately, the spin cycle has been getting more noisy until now when it sounds like an airplane ready to taxi down the runway. I opened the back of the washer to observe and noticed a lot of vibration and large sway of the tub during spin. This tub is supposed to be stabilized by a couple of shock absorbers located toward the rear. Since these do not seem to be doing their job, is it possible that they are worn out and need replaced or should I be looking somewhere else for a solution.

The belt looks fine and the motor seems to turn effortlessly.

Your help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I had the same problem on spin cycle with a Frigidaire Top entry model GLWS1439FCI. It is located on the second floor of my home sitting in a galvanized steel trough supported by a wooden floor. I have read that a solid concrete floor is the best location to avoid vibration issues. My problem has been alleviated by level adjustments of the washer. The rear legs are usually self adjusting after tilting forward to release and then placed back on the rear legs. The front adjustable legs should be as close as possible fully screwed to the washer base while levelling. Levelling is important both side to side and front to back (use a spirit level) but even more important is diagonally. This means grasping the left rear (avoid grasping the plastic controls cover) and the right front and trying to rock the washer. Adjust the right front leg to eliminate any rocking and repeat for right rear to left front diagonal. I would be interested to find out where your washer is located and if you have any success with this levelling procedure. Good luck
