    Washing machine drain hose overflow in apartment
    Drain hose in 2 year old ge washing machine is overflowing onto aartment carpet spreading water to master bathroom carpet.

    It has nothing to do with the age of the machine. It's clogged pipes, very common because people don't put lint traps over the end of the hose, or because there are other clogs down the line and washers dump a lot of water all at once, so of course they overflow easily. Find and fix the clog. Look for the first trap you can open.
