Turning the water off at the hot water tank
I have an upper horizontal pipe leak over my hot water tank. The water is warm. And there is no knob to turn that pipe off. Where should I begin in order to turn off the water going through this pipe?

Typically you would turn off the cold water at the valve where it enters the hot water heater. This shuts off the hot water.
