Too much water got into my dryer and now it won't start
I just got a brand new whirlpool washer and dryer. I tried to dry a comforter that was extra wet. I squeezed out as much water as I could, but it was still soaked. The dryer it seemed to be OK, but I have a European model that does not drain on it's own, but rather it has a reservoir where it collects the water and that must be emptied after each dry cycle. I figured that I may have to empty this a few times. So when I checked it after the dryer had been running for a while there was water puddling up inside the drum. I removed the comforter and tried to mop up the water with a towel and I emptied the reservoir but now the "empty reservoir" light goes on when I try to start the dryer and it won't start. I thought that maybe the dryer was water logged and I aired it out over night, but it still will not work. :( Any help work be great.

Why didn't you just give the comforter extra spin dry time to get out excess water?

My frigidaire dryer stopped running mid-cycle and now won''t turn back on. From the user's manual and reading on-line (I haven't taken it apart, yet) I believe it is probably the thermal limiter that went bad. My question is, why would this part die? Do I have some other over-heating issue? I don't...

Senseon dryer model #GEX9868JQ1 will not start. Tried the instructions about putting the two blue wires together, no luck. Cleaned both sensors on back and checked vent, all OK. Any more ideas on what the problem might be. Thanks
