    Sub zero 241rfd
    Looking at buying a 241-Rfd, M# 654489- on sale for 1k-can you tell me the age and quality of this model. They have replaced gaskets and tstat- I have not seen it yet, but wanted to do research before hand.

    You need the serial number to know how old it is. The date of manufacture is usually next to the model number, but if not you can call the factory and they will tell you when it left the factory. The temp control in upper left of refrigerator says to turn clockwise for colder... the number gets higher. Where/what is the line to use as the basis as you turn higher? I can turn clockwise until the dial stops, which should be the coldest temp, and then turn counter a bit but trying to figure...
