    Squeeky Whirlpool electric dryer
My son has a Model LER7646JQ0 electric dryer purchased in Dec 2000 that has developed a loud sqeek when in use. Can you confirm if Whirlpool Part Number: 3406129 is the right part to replace the bearing, or is Whirlpool Part Number: 279441 bearing ring kit needed also?

Can you provide instructions on how to disassemble this dryer?

    Thanks

Our dryer is making this loud, terrible squeaking noise. At first it was just with a heavy load now it's all the time. Bearings, belt? Is it easy enough to do it myself or do I need a repair person? Thanks, Jpunt
