    Spin cycle will not come after replacing timer and knob
    I replaced the knob on the timer and the timer. Now the washer works, but the spin cycle will not come on

    You have solenoids and other parts that can keep it from going into the spin cycle. The book "Understanding Automatic Washers" explains what you need to do. Get a good multimeter and NEVER change a part without testing it first. That's the worst way to diagnose an appliance. Most appliances can be easily checked with a meter and this saves you money and time.
