    Ge washer 3yrs old makes grinding noise
    Newer washer 3 yrs old started making a grinding noise during wash cycle besides checking level haven't done anything else yet
    Ge model top loader #wjrr5550kww
    Wondering if motor or tranny is going out

    There are a few things that do this, the main ones I see at work are, your bearing on your washer has worn done and needs replacing canbe cheap to do or aprice off a new washer to do. The other main asnwer a bra wire has got cought between the drums this can be trcky depending on washer.
