Whirlpool ice dispencer door kit
The ice maker dispencer door hinge is broken on my Whirlpool model ED2LHEXTD00 refrigator. One of the tabs moulded into the Dispencer Housing is broken. I'm told this is a common problem and Whirlpool has a fix called "Tab repair kit". I would like to know something about this kit as to what it consist of and how difficuit it might be to install. The sales department at Whirlpool sales can only tell me the price and that they sale a lot of them.

This happens every few years it seems. The side by side freezer stops making ice. I checked all the water feedlines and they do not appear to be blocked. The unit cycles all the time but it never fills with water... any other items I should be checking? Is there a filter that could get clogged?...
