I've removed all the screws to the back panel of a kenmore washer serial #11023012102 and the back panel will not come off. What am I missing?

The back panel does not come off this machine. To access the internals, first replace all the screws you removed. Then you have to flip the console up. There are three ways that the console can be attached. I'm not sure which way it is on your model.
1. 2 screws on backside of console in corners.
2. 2 screws on frontside of console underneath the two trim covers.
3. Clips on the corners of the console from the front. Push a putty knife into the corners of the console while lightly pushing the top of the console backwards.

Once the console is flipped up out of the way, disconnect the lid switch.
Then remove the two brass colored clips that hold the case to the back panel. After those two clips are removed, open the lid and while grasping the front of the case, tip the case towards you and pull away from the machine.
