    What causes water to accumulate in the clothes dryer vent leading outside?

    You might want to check your exhaust port where the dryer air exits the house. If the flapper on the exhaust port is stuck open or missing that will allow warm moist air to flow into the dryer which may much cooler than the outside air causing condensation inside the dryer drum.

Whirpool Model #DDE6500GALAD. I have removed the back access panel and can see the drum belt and two pulley wheels through which the belt is threaded. I do not see any way to tighten the belt or do not know how to replace the belt if it needs replacing. Any ideas??
