    Is this repairable?
I let the oil run dry in my ride-on (B&S). Is this repairable or do I need to get a replacement engine? I don't want to tell the hubby yet! Any answers? And no need to say typical woman... I'm in Sydney, Oz. Thanks

I suppose you seized it up or threw a rod. A new engine is usually the cheapest option at this point.

I'm in the USA so you will have to wait for almost anyone else to answer. Any place cheap for me would incur horrific shipping charges for you.
