Remove Inner Tub on Whirlpool Topload Washer
I am trying to remove the inner tub on my washer. There is a lot of dirt built-up on the outer tub so I want to clean it.
I have gotten to the point where I have removed the Locking Nut, but it still won' budge.
It moves about 1/4 inch then hits something solid that does not appear to want to move.
I think I should be able to remove the Basket Block as that is a part I can purchase, but I don't see how it is fastened to the drive shaft.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.
