    Refrigerator doesn't get cold
    I have a magic chef refrigerator. I can hear it running, but it doesn't get cold in either the fridge part or freezer. It doesn't make ice cubes, but I can see frost building up in the back of the freezer part.

    Make sure the condenser coils are clean. Remove the bottom cover and carefully clean all of the dust and debris that have built up on the coils. If you have access to an air compressor, this would be great. Various outfits sell refrigerator coil cleaning brushes. A more complete cleaning involves removing the lower cover on the back of the refrigeration and removing all of the buildup.

    If you can see frost in th freezer compartment, and you have a frost-free one, then it's a good bet your defrost thermostat is bad.
