Reason of electric stove short circuit?
Hi... I bought a new pot few days back and it size 9, means it really big
The first time I tried to use it to make chicken( about 4lbs), it had a short circuit and the fuses got burned
I have already changed them and its working fine
I just want to know that is it the pot or the weight which caused the short circuit?
If its either of them I just want to know to be careful in future

It depends on where the short circuit was located. The wires should have been insulated so that no short circuit would happen, however. Possibly, someone did some sloppy work before this happened and left off an insulator, I cannot know without knowing more, and the type of stove you have along with model number.

I have a whirlpool electrical stove. I experienced circuit short in the receptacle attached to the heating element many times. Was the short caused by the heating element or the receptacle? How can I prevent it from happening again?

I don't see how the element can cause a short. Wear from long use can cause problems, but without seeing it or a description of what the short came from it is impossible to know the answer.
