    Opening the front panel of Maytag washer
    Does the front panel of Maytag washer MAV5000AWW open so I can get to the plastic hoses where the water drains from washer tub? Please explain how to open

    Near the bottom on each side you will find a phillips head screw. Remove the screws and pull from the bottom up and pull out. This will release the 2 sping clips at the top of the panel.

    On this model there are no screws on the side or front. They must be underneath, maybe?
