My Kenmore gas dryer (model number 110.74672400) hums when I press the start button (as if it will start) but that nothing happens. The dryer does not tumble or heat. Help!
There's a sheet stuck under the agitator on this machine. I've removed the cap of the agitator by unscrewing it. There's a stud under it with a 5/8" hex bolt in a very tight space. Is there a special wrench to unscrew this? I have a 5/8" socket but I doubt if it will fit over the bolt because...
My washer drum is out out balance in all spin cycles. I used to repair the old dryers where all you need to do is replace solenoids, thermostats, htg. Coils, etc... so I am somewhat familiar w/appliance repair. What do I need to do to fix this at home?
I have a series 80 Kenmore electric dryer. When I push the start button the dryer will start and go through it's entire cycle however the drum is not turning and therefore the clothes are still wet, it does heat up.I removed the top and could turn the drum by hand though not that easy with a load...
After reading Applguy's instruction on other brands to fix the squeak I am setting about getting into my stacked unit. Does anyone have any experience with this type of unit. Thanks much.
