Kenmore washing machine won't spin or drain
My Kenmore washing machine Model 110.82371810 will neither drain, nor spin. It sounds like the motor is humming, but no movement occurring in any of the cycles. Before calling a repair service, I'd like to attempt to fix it myself. I'm able to take directions, but not familiar with appliance repair. Any step by step directions that I might follow for this model? It's been a good washer over the past years... Thanks!

Kenmore washer model 110.29812890 does not spin or drain. Sometimes if the hood is slammed it will spin and drain. Would this mean the lid switch is going and can I change it without difficulty? Does anyone have directions on how to change the lid switch if that is what you think is wrong?...
