Kenmore washer only fills w/ water timer settings do not work.
HI, My Kenmore is 5 yrs old model # 110.25862400 I started a load of laundry today. I pushed the timer to start a load. The water filled up and that was it. I tried different settings and cycles on the timer still nothing. No sound, no movement, just dead.
There was no previous indication that anything was going wrong with the washing machine, Can you tell me if this is something simple to fix or do I need to call Sears Repair? Thank you :) |

I have a Kenmore Washing machine model # 110.2463200 , when you try to wash a load it fills up with water but then it stops. It won't finish the cycle. What do I do to fix this. Is it the lid switch? If so how do I fix that?
It first showed CE error message. After some research on the internet I made sure the connections are correct and now it started and fills water after that it just stops and does nothing... it just waits.. I cancelled the cycle and restart a new cycle it fills water again and waits after it fills...
I found a troubleshooting guide inside the cabinet that says, "...set timer to the start of the Regular wash cycle and pull the know out. If the motor does not rotate, check for a poor connection in the timer line switch or door lock switch. If good, and motor does not run go to step 3". ...
I will come back to my front load kenmore after it has sat Idle for several hours and there will be water in the washer and I have to run the drain cycle to get rid of it. I'm worried that it might overflow when I'm gone. Is there a fix? Thanks
I have a 3 year old Kenmore Heavy Duty 2 Cycles 2 Spead Motor with 3 Speed Combinations washer. The washer has filled to the proper height but will not cycle to wash. Is there a reset or could it be the timer?
