Kenmore Front Load Washer #417.41802700 won
Our Kenmore 4810 has just begun to not drain and then it does not spin. You can hear it trying to spin but it sounds like it is stuck. It then smells like something is getting hot. I have looked online and everything one talks about a front panel to remove but this one does not have that type of front area. What would you suggest?

Something is jammed up, so do not run it until it's fixed. See if this manual helps, if not, you will need to buy one online: https://dl.dropbox.com/u/8010163/Ken...sher_Elite.pdf
These machines are nothing but trouble and you should get rid of it and get a good machine, like any good top-loading Whirlpool or Kenmore model. The stresses involved in running a front-loading machine tear it up quickly and the makers have not yet figured out how to make one that works well in the home, but they look good, which is as far as it gets.
