Kenmore dishwasher circuit board literally fried and burnt up
I have a kenmore dishwasher and we smelt a burning smell from other room... welooked and dishwasher control lights were all off?. so I turned breaker off and removed control board which was melted and burnt... is it likely a new board will fix it?

Depends on what caused the circuit board to burn up. You MIGHT put in a new board and have it burn up because of something external to it that failed and caused the last board to fail.

Depending on how old it is...and how much the board costs...It might make more sense to replace the dishwasher.

Google "Chambers vs Whirlpool" for class action settlements for that exact reason. However, I believe it may now be closed. I am in it .
