My kenmore 300 electric dryer doesn't heat. What to do?
Kenmore 300 model 68322700. It runs but won't heat. It is about 2.5 years old. A few months back it happened for a first time. It was a thermal fuse. Pretty easy. This time around the fuse is fine. When I check for a continuity on the heating element switches all the way down under the shell the light is very weak, dim. Also there is a thermostat on the bottom of the thermal fuse . It has four wires, two red ones and two purple ones. The purple ones don't seem to light up my tester. Which one of these things could be a problem to fix? How about the timer, could it possibly stop the dryer from heating? My laundry is piling sky high. Please help asap? Thanks
