Kenmore 106 626662 icemaker heater doesn't heat to release ice for harvest. Subsequently, motor stripped gear in one spot as it tried to rotate ejection fingers. What would cause heater not work?

No water goes into the ice maker. Replaced water valve to no avail. Red LED light does work. Fill tube isn't frozen. HELP! Thanks

The water line got connected, and I made sure that it works, but it will not go pass the water line, is there a special wireing I need to know,, there are three little motors, but only two of them have a connection, (power supply),
