    ICE maker overflows with ICE !
    My ice maker will NOT stop making ice, it overflows EVERYDAY, the metal arm no longer moves up and down, it appears to be broken. Is there an off switch or way to disable the ice maker? It is a GE fridge ice/freezer compartment on top & fridge at bottom, PLEASE HELP!! I will have a iceberg in my fridge if I don't get help soon!! :eek: :eek: :eek:

    You can shut it off at the water inlet valve behind the refrigerator. More than likely you will need to replace the icemaker. They can be repaired but parts are just about as high as a new unit
