    Hpw do I change my 3 wire receptacle out to a 4 wire receptacle
    I had bought a dryer with a 3 wire receptacle and I have a 4 wire receptacle on my outlet how do I change it to the right one so I can use it or is there a nother way

    I think you mean your dryer has a 3-wire plug on it now.

    Actually, in the US your 4 wire receptacle is "the right one." It's the latest as required by Code.

    Check the dryers owners manual for installation of the correct cordset.
