    How to unstop Garbage disposal
I forgot you aren't supposed to put raw cabbage in disposal. It is now stopped up and I have gotten out as much as I can, used the scew tool to turn it from the bottom (it moves all the way around easily) and hit the reset button. The motor still churns, and the "Power Buster" Plunger that usually gits rid of all my prior stoppages is not doing anything for this one. Any suggestions? Really short on money and hope I can somehow get this fixed without a plumber.

Keep doing what your doing and if it does not drain then it is time to take apart the drain line and go from there. I have no magic wand for this one .

My disposal has always worked just fine, but today it's sending water back up into the sink after it's gone down once the switch is turned off? A clog? Does this necessarily mean a plumbing call?
