How to replace the baking heating element on a maytag performa model per5750qas
Inside the oven you have the roasting element which is at the top of the oven and then you have the baking element which is at the bottom of the oven. My question is how do I remove the old element and so I can install the new one. The oven bottom seems to be covering the bottom baking heating element, is this the case.

    See image.
It appears that the bottom (16) is removed by removing two screws (15). Then remove the bake element (6) by removing screw (9).
