    How do I remove an agitator from a kenmore washing machine series 41160
    Need to remove agitator to remove build up underneath. Agitator does not agitate

    Remove the fabric dispenser cup. Next, remove the cap with the bow tie tyoe clip. You will now need a 7/16" scoket with a long extension to remove the bolt. Pull up on the agitator and it will come off

    I have a 70 series Kenmore Washing Machine, the newer model, after I remove the bolt to the agitator, then what am I looking for next.
