    On this washer you don't lift the top. You remove the cabinet. On the console, lower front of each side, remove the screws, one each side. Pull the console slightly forward and lift at front. Tip it back and you will see a gold clamp on each side holding the cabinet to the back. Remove the clamp by releasing with a screw driver (no screws). Now you can just tip the cabinet towards you and access the lid switch. Part number is 359230 or substitute 279347. Good luck.
