    How can we get the old gas line off the dryer
    When trying to get the gas line off the old dryer the flex line just keeps coiling up

    These are usually flare or pipe fittings. Wrap some duct tape around the flex tube, near the fitting, hold it with a channel lock, and then try to remove the fitting. Sometimes, pipe dope will restrict turning the fittings.
