How to attach the blue wire to dryer sensor plate
My Maytag stack laundry LSE7806ACE unit - dryer sensor plate shook loose (unscrewed) and the blue wire is hanging inside the drum. It needs to be reattached to the plate and screwed in, but I cannot tell how to attach it. It has the metal wire ends on it, but I can't see where it goes onto the plate. The plate has two corresponding metal pins on one end, but they don't align. Guidance appreciated.

    Can you provide a picture?
To be hanging in the Drum, could it be a door switch?

The only thing I see that meets your description is a door switch at http://www.appliancepartspros.com/partsearch/model.aspx?model_id=44572&diagram_id=28453384#d284 53384

We need a picture of the switch and a close-up of the wires and terminals.

Drtom, that is a good source for appliance parts, I have had good luck with them.
Does the switch look like this:

That looks like a door switch which is the only one I know of there. Just find the two terminals that are open when the button is out and attach the wires there. You need a meter to test it. DrTom4444

The PAT causes spalling for about a 1/4" and if it does go in will not hold. I tried using both 2 1/2" and 3" nails. The surface of the concrete seems brittle and the rest too hard. The nails will also bend in the concrete. The floor is about 5 years old. I tried using TAPCONS but they either...
