Water is collecting in bottom of refrigerator - I think it may be a clogged drain tube. Where is this tube so I can attempt to "clear" it.

It depends on what model refrigerator you have as to whether you have a drain tube or how to access it. Get me a model number, and we can go from there.

Behind the back wall of the freezer is the evaporator coil that periodically must be defrosted. Since the defrost system takes care of that once or twice each day, there is a drain trough directly under the evaporator coil that funnels the defrost water into the drain tube which carries the water to the pan under the refrigerator. That drain entrance is most likely plugged with either food debris or ice. To access it, remove the back panel of the freezer, which will require removal of the shelf and the ice maker, if equipped. I use a steamer to blast through the ice and emulsify any food matter in the drain. Hot water can also be used, but be careful not to overflow the drain pan, as it isn't intended to hold that much water. Once the ice is gone, you can use compressed air to ensure the drain is open. After reassembly, return the unit to service and check the freezer temp the following morning by using 2 thermometers (side by side) to ensure the freezer is not going below 0 degrees F and adjust the control as required. Always check temps first thing in the morning and allow 24 hours between adjustments. Also, be careful not to break the glass tube defrost heater under the evaporator coil.
