    I have a broken hub
I have a whirlpool gold washing machine with the catalyst option. We got it from my brother-in-law. It always made a really loud knocking sound when the machine slows down from spinning. My brother said he had it looked at and they said it had a broken hub and would be two hundred dollars to fix. I currently have the machine torn apart to fix a broken wire underneath it. I was hoping to fix the hub while I had it torn apart. I was wondering how hard of a job this would be and what the price of the part would be around.

    Model # is required.

Diagram and parts price may be available at Parts & Accessories | Shop & Find Lawn & Garden, Appliance Parts at Sears PartsDirect | SearsPartsDirect.com

Use the website as a reference price. They are not the cheapest.
