Ge washer will not spin if load is too heavy
I have a GE profile Washer 1999 model wasr3110w2aa. The washer will not spin with a load of towels however will operate with a lighter load. I just installed a new clutch and belt and the same problem exists. The lid switch seems to be working. If I lift the tub an inch or so it seems to want to spin. I am out of ideas since it doesn't seem to be electrical issue. Oh yes, I can see the motor shaft spinning but the pulleys and belt are not, even with the new clutch.

When we remove the towels and break it up into 1/3 loads, it works fine. The washer is about 4 years old and up to now was able to wash these heavy loads.
