    My ge dryer squeaks when on.
    I have a ge dryer, model # dhdsr46ee1ww, serial # dl814474a and it is making a squeaking noise when drying clothes. The load is not heavy and the clothes are not wet at all.

    You've got either a bad belt or a bad pulley. Probably the belt.

    How old is the dryer?

    Tear down unit, clean it out of all lint build-up, grease bearings with high-temp white grease, and replace belt and your problems will be solved. DrTom4444
