    GE dryer
    How do I get to the drum bearing? We were told it is the cause of our squeak --we opened the top but can't figure out how to get passed the drum

    I have the same squeaking issue with my 20 yr old White Westinghouse, not going to touch it until either I can't stand the noise or it quits, doesn't make sense to me to put money into a unit that has outlived it's useful live expectany of about 12 yrs. You didn't say how your GE was ?
