Frigidaire dryer FDE436RES1 not drying clothes on low
The day before yesterday when I was drying my clothes I had noticed that my clothes were still damp so I hung them up and then tried another load on a longer time 90 minutes, (usually I have the setting on low heat and it dries everything in about 60-75 minutes), the clothes were still damp so I switched the setting to medium heat and put them back it and halfway through I opened it to see if it was actually heating or if I was wasting my time. It was heating up then and the clothes did end up drying.
So my question is what would cause it not to work on low heat but it does work on medium heat, and how would I check the parts, and if it ends up being one of the parts how do I replace the part.
I really prefer to dry on low heat again (just maybe not as low as it is doing right now. Lol) so whatever help I can get it would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you in advance for any help.
    :)
