Foul test of dispense water from refrigerator
I have GE Profile side by side refrigerator with a new water intake valve (dual solnoid). I installed a new water filter but the dispense water has foul test (like oil or some kind of chemical). The ice maker works fine and ice do not have foul test. Any suggestion to pin-point the problem and solution?

My GE side-by-side model GSL25IFRF BS stopped dispensing water and ice. When you push the lever, the light in the panel dims and the compressor will turn off. I unplugged it over night and now the fridge just clicks and the compressor doesn't sound like its kicking in. Help!
