    Dishwasher will not drain
Our dishwasher is filling, but is not draining. Pipes are clear and seems timer and solenoid are working. Is it the pump? Are they easy to replace?

    Thanks,

    M

Try taking apart the solenoid and checking the mechanical part(where the water passes through) mine did this last winter and there was a disgusting clog of food stuff jammed in the valve. The solenoid will still "click" on & off but the valve doesn't actually move.

Thank you... thank you. You saved me quite a bit of money! I took the motor/pump out and you were correct about the valve being blocked!
