Dishwasher Tub won't drain all the way
Kenmore 665.13259k113 leaves water in tub when done. I was told by service man it was the drain pump. I replaced it with new one from Sears, same problem. I prewash everything in sink before use, all lines and filters are clean. What I see is during the wash cycles when it is suppose to drain, it partially drains and continues same for rinse etc. When complete I have to use the Drain and Cancel two to three times to rid the water in the tub. Again no blockage in drain tube. I have even cut the drain line from the pump, spliced in another line into a bucket and watched the amount of water draining. It is only the force of a pencil stream of water. The pump seems to run a complete cycle but the amount of water removed is very little. What's the chances of the new pump being bad or equal to the old pump? I've even had the pumps out and started the Drain cycle it seems to work fine. Does anything else control the cycle? The optic eye seems to control the dirtiness of the water. Any suggestions

Noise/smell from tub drain when dishwasher running [ 1 Answers ]
