    Dishwasher leaking after cycle completed
Hi: I have an older model GE dishwasher profile series that is leaking after the drying cycle is complete. Maybe 30 or so minutes after the drying cycle has completed there will be a small pool of water on the hardwood floor left side front of the dishwasher. At first the water was dirty, now it appears mostly clean.

There is a mess of long hoses underneath the sink that get pushed around when reaching for items, maybe I disturbed a hose or something. I really like this dishwasher and have had no repairs. I am trying very hard to avoid the expense of a new dishwasher which from what I have read cost sooo much more and run for hours and the drying is almost non existent. The white hose going into the side of the dishwasher at the bottom of cabinet seems especially long.

    Thanks for the help.

Good pictures. Dishwasher repair can be very difficult at times and there are numerous things that can cause leaks like you describe. It may not be repairable though but let's do what we can. OK, the drain hose in the picture, the white corrugated one that connects to your sink drain pipe . It needs to be mounted to the underside of the counter top. You can use a wire or clamp, it doesn't matter. On my appliance repair calls, I use both. The reason for this is that water and gook accumulates inside the drain hose. Most of this comes out from your garbage disposal. It set inside of the hose, rotting, stinking, etc. It's terrible. So, remove the hose, glean the gook out with a coat-hanger or such. Mount it like I said above. If it's clogged then it won't drain properly and too much water will be in the dishwasher tub during later fill-drain cycles, and cause leakage out the corner of the door. Oh, I looked at pic again and you have a black hose coming into the garbage disposal. Where does that come from?
If this doesn't fix it, then it will be tough. It could be anything, the vent, hole in tub, seal, washer arm, split in sump, etc. Hope this helps,
