    Coupling, motor and isolation
I have a kenmore washer,it will not spin, when I turn the drum it tries to spin.
It pumps all the water out.
Turn it upside down and I see the "Coupling, motor and isolation #285753a" and the
"Clutch #285785" turning, I also see black shavings from the "Coupling, motor and isolation"
And it turns slow. My problem I don't see how to take it apart to replace the part 285753a.
I took the 3 screws from the gear case but I wasn't able to separate the motor to get the Coupling, also could the coupling stop the spinning process

Take a look at Parts & Accessories | Shop & Find Lawn & Garden, Appliance Parts at Sears PartsDirect | SearsPartsDirect.com An exploded view should be there. If you still have trouble, hopefully I can take a look.
