    Automatic defrost on frigidaire refrherator
In March 200 5 bought a frigidaire refrigerator. In march 2006 had it repaired. That is the auto defrost. In April 2007 did it again paid 59.00 to have a tech show my husband how to reset it. The only problem we have now is we never know when it is going to happen and we went on a long weekend and came home to a freezer full of spoiled food.We contacted frigidaire and after two months contacted them again. We received a response that they were sorry. Do we have any recourse to take on this LEMON
    Thanks,
    Tom:confused:

It's out of warranty so unfortunately you can't do anything about this problem other than keep resetting the button on the defrost. Maybe change out the entire defrost switch might solve the problem.
