uninstalling items on iBook mac os 9
We just recently bought a used Mac Os 9 and we're pretty new to it. It's a old laptop with RAM of only 26 MB.

We just want this laptop to be for surfing the Internet and to make it kind of like a digital picture frame kind of thing, since it has so little memory and RAM.

    1. I would like to uninstall items that I don't need, to make it lighter and faster on the laptop.
    2. Like on windows vista, where you can click screen saver and make it show your pictures of your family, etc.
I would like to know how to do that on my Mac OS 9.

I only need to browse the Internet and have the screen saver show my pictures, so if you know there is an important software that I shouldn't uninstall, please tell me.

So please tell me the steps of doing the 2 steps above.

    Thank you very much =D

OK, I've never used os 9, but I do have a macbook with osx.

To do what you described with the screensaver on osx you do the following:
    Click on system preferences
    Click on desktop and screensaver
    Make sure click on screensaver
Choose the picture folder you wish to display (you may have to create a folder to do this)

For your other issue try this site (you may or may not find an something useful, since it is geared toward osx):

Unfortunately, it's hard to find much information on os9 with osx being so popular.
