    Downloaded corrupted files
I have been using AVG freeware for several years and it suddenly stopped working. I have been trying to download a new copy for two days and, at the end of the download, I get a message stating that the file is corrupted. This has happened twice. Today I tried to download the Avira :confused:antivir software and had the same result. What is wrong with my computer and how can I fix it? Any help will be most appreciated.

Uninstall from the control panel properly then try to download and reboot your PC then reinstall it and also delete the temporary files like temp, prefetch, %temp% files.
